ABOUT SCOPE STUDIOS
Scope Studios began its life as “Creative ScreenWorks”— started by Emmy-nominated producer Jon Slagle in 2008. Jon built a reputation in Kern County for creating innovative local television commercials—being the first in the region to deliver “HD” and later “4K” videos.
In 2015, son Jean-Luc joined the operation and the two rebranded as a father and son team under the new name Scope Studios. The two set their sights higher under this new label and began offering national-quality work to local companies in the San Joaquin Valley.
In 2022, Jon Slagle transitioned out of advertising and into aviation—finding a new post-retirement passion in helicopters. Today, Jean-Luc runs Scope Studios with the same commitment to innovation that started the company. As Scope continues to grow and amass greater recognition for their work, the mission remains the same: to deliver creative that moves.
